HUNDREDS of airline passengers are still waiting to find their lost luggage.
Since 2015, 280 lost luggage claims have not been resolved by Gatwick Airport, according to MoneySuperMarket.
That is the second-highest amount of unresolved claims in the country behind London Heathrow.
Travel insurance expert Anna Sant said travellers should insure themselves against lost luggage.
“Most policies will cover the full cost of your belongings but it’s worth checking before proceeding,” she said.
