A BURGLAR who broke into a holiday camp safety building with intent to steal was jailed.
Paul Tully targeted the Butlin’s holiday resort in Bognor.
The 36-year-old changed his plea to guilty when he appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court.
It was revealed he is already serving an existing jail sentence at Lewes Prison, where he is only set for release in March this year.
He broke into the safety building at the holiday camp in December 2018.
Magistrates decided to add another eight weeks to his prison sentence, as no other punishments were appropriate as he cannot start a community order.
Tully was put under a restraining order to not enter the holiday resort or contact the manager there.
The order lasts until November 2021.
He must also pay a £115 victim surcharge, and £200 in prosecution court costs.
