Aged 44, of St Georges Place, Brighton, admitted drink and drug-driving in a Ford in Lewes Road. Tested positive for cannabis, and 123 milligrammes (mg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres (ml) of blood. The legal limit is 80mcg of alcohol per 100ml of blood. Fined £120, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.

Aged 30, of Kingston Close, Hove, admitted handling a stolen kettle and toaster. Ordered to complete 15 rehabilitation sessions, with a £90 surcharge and £85 cost.

Aged 42, of no fixed address, admitted breaching a restraining order not to attend a street in Brighton. Given a conditional discharge and to pay £21, with an £85 surcharge.
JAMES WHITLAM
Aged 38, of Western Road, Brighton, found guilty of failing to provide a breath test in custody when suspected of drink-driving. Aged 49, of East End Lane, Ditchling, found guilty of driving in a Vauxhall without due care and attention on the A23. Fined £1,000, with a £100 surcharge and £650 costs. Six points added to his licence.

Aged 30, of North Road, Brighton, admitted breaching a community order by breaching a curfew. Conviction for entering Burger King in North Street as a trespasser with intent to do unlawful damage. Jailed for 18 weeks.
