We are welcoming nominations for the best in Sussex.

They can look like any celebrity, be they a singer, athlete or someone else. If you have family or friends who are the spitting image of someone famous, please send us a photo and we will feature the best.

This week we have an excellent submission from the public.

It comes from Rick Lythe.

The 46-year-old believes he looks like Eastenders actor Sid Owen.

Owen, 47, is an English actor, television presenter and former singer, who played Ricky Butcher in the BBC One soap opera EastEnders from 1988 until 2012.

He also appeared in the tenth series of Strictly Come Dancing and made a cameo performance in the British cult show How Clean is Your House in 2005.

Rick, who lives in Worthing and runs a valeting service, said: “I’ve been stopped since Ricky was on Eastenders and living within Brighton as Owen did.”
