Sussex Police has cracked down on burner phones
POLICE are cracking down on drug dealers by restricting their use of untraceable “burner” phones.
Reacting to a Government report on how officers tackle dealers, Sussex Police Chief Superintendent Jo Banks said officers were using “drug dealing telephone restriction orders” to tackle “deal lines”.
“Every day our activity sends a clear message to drug dealers that they cannot expect to go undetected in Sussex,” she said.
