DESIGNER shoes were among the items stolen from a charity shop.

Thieves stole a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes as well as some new Philip Lim boots and some white pearls from the window display at the St Peter and St James Hospice charity shop in High Street in Lewes on Thursday.

A sealed box with a bottle of Valentino Donna perfume was also taken.

The theft amounted to about £200 of stolen goods in total, which the shop’s manager, Caroline Rosan, said was a “big loss” for a charity shop.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101.
