Aged 49, of Tidy Street, Brighton, admitted drink-driving, driving without insurance, and breaching a suspended sentence. Tested positive for 48 microgrammes (mcg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres (ml) of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg per 100ml. Fined £1,373, with a £115 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for one year.

JESSICA KNIGHT

Aged 34, of Oriental Place, Brighton, admitted stealing clothes from Peacocks, and breaching a suspended sentence for theft. Given a new 12-week suspended sentence, with 17 rehabilitation sessions, and to pay £50 compensation.

NILS MORCZINEK

Aged 31, of Norfolk Terrace, Brighton, admitted possessing a stun gun and possessing amphetamine. Given a three-month suspended sentence and to complete 15 rehabilitation sessions, with a £115 surcharge and £85 costs.

GLEN PUDDICK

Aged 46, of Haybourne Road, Brighton, admitted possessing cocaine. Given a conditional discharge with a £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

BILAL BOULAICH

Aged 26, of Haybourne Road, Brighton, admitted drink-driving, and driving without valid insurance. Tested positive for 61mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath. Fined £876, with a £44 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.

MATTHEW SULLIVAN

Aged 37, of North Road, Brighton, admitted possessing a Stanley knife, stealing handbags from Cath Kidston, baby food and alcohol from Tesco, and clothes from Peacocks, and criminal damage. Jailed for 29 weeks, with a £149 surcharge and £85 costs.

LEON TIERNEY

Aged 21, of Tillstone Street, Brighton, admitted stealing a bicycle worth £3,000, possessing cannabis, and resisting arrest. Ordered to complete 20 rehabilitation sessions and to pay £150 in compensation, with a £90 surcharge and £100 costs.

DAINIUS BAGDONAS

Aged 28, of Selden Road, Worthing, admitted failing to attend probation appointments for drink-driving in a BMW. Ordered to pay £60 costs and fined £70.

MATTHEW HULSE

Aged 55, of Rowlands Road, Heene, guilty of failing to identify the driver suspected of a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £660, with a £66 surcharge and £85 costs. Six points added to her licence.
