A man was left in hospital after an attack in the early hours of New Year's Day in Felpham Way
TWO men were arrested on suspicion of an attack near a restaurant.
Police were called to a fight in Felpham Way, Felpham, near Bognor, in the early hours of New Year’s Day.
It happened near the Southdowns Sizzling pub and grill.
A 23-year-old man had to be taken to hospital, but was later discharged.
Two men, aged 26 and 23, presented themselves at a police station and were arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
Both men were released on conditional bail while the inquiry continues.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to report it on 101 or on the Sussex Police website.
