A MAN has been charged on suspicion of robbery and possessing a knife at a gaming arcade.
Police were called to Connaught Leisure in George Street, Hove, at 3.20pm on Tuesday. There were reports a man had entered and demanded cash.
It was also reported that a man ran off towards Church Road and that later armed police swooped in to surround a bus in connection with the incident.
Officers were able to identify a suspect and executed a warrant on Wednesday.
James Creaghan, 29, of The Drive, Hove, was charged with robbery and possessing a knife. He appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
