A JAZZ night is being held to raise money for a suffragette statue.
Double Standards, an evening of “jazz and joy” will be held on March 4 in Brighton to generate funds for the tribute to Mary Clake – the first person to die for women’s right to vote.
It is taking place in St George’s Church in St George’s Road and tickets cost £20 plus an admin fee.
