THE man accused of murdering a Redcar mum-of-six has been found dead in prison.
An investigation has been launched following the death of Liam Murray, who was found dead in Durham Prison on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old was accused of the murder of Stacey Cooper, 34, who was found dead in a property on Malham Gill, in Redcar, on New Year’s Eve.
He had twice appeared in court charged with murder and possessing a bladed article but had yet to enter a plea.
Murray, of of Whitby Avenue, Guisborough, was being held at Durham Prison but was found dead on Tuesday, January 14.
An independent investigation will now be carried out by the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman.
A Prison Service spokesperson said: “HMP Durham prisoner Liam Murray died in custody on 14 January. Our thoughts are with his friends and family.
“As with all deaths in custody, there will be an independent investigation by the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman.”
Murray had been due to appear at Teesside Crown Court on January 29.
Following her death, the family of Ms Cooper described her as “much-loved mother-of-six, a treasured daughter and sister.”
They said: “There are no words to express our sadness.
“Stacey was a wonderful mother and the loss of her to her children is unimaginable.”
