PLANS have been revealed to restore a tennis court to its former glory.
Seaford Town Council has announced plans to turn The Salts Tennis Courts into a new sports facility.
The council hopes to refurbish three courts as well as floodlights, a gated access system and new robust fencing.
If funding is secured, the work should begin by early summer this year.
A town council spokeswoman said: “The town council is currently working with interested funding organisations to secure grant funding whilst continuing to seek further funding opportunities to support the project.”
It is now inviting applications to tender for refurbishing the courts and installing new floodlights.
Those interested can visit the site in Richmond Road on February 4.
The deadline for applications is 1pm on February 28.
