THE family of a woman who died after falling from the seventh storey of a block of flats have paid tribute to her.

She was identified earlier today as Nicola Redman, 33, of Monument View, Brighton.

A 52-year-old man has been released on police bail after he was initially arrested on suspicion of murder.

Nicola's family called her a "joyful, kind-hearted and beautiful mother".

In a statement they said: "Nicola was the life and soul of the family.

"She was vibrant and full of colour, a loving mother to two children, and a caring sister and auntie. Life is not going to be the same without her."

Her son said: "She was a joyful, kind-hearted and beautiful mother who will be greatly missed."

Police were called to Clarendon House, Clarendon Road, Hove, at 5.53am on Saturday after Nicola was reported to have fallen to the ground from the seventh floor of the flats. She was confirmed dead at the scene.

The death is being investigated by detectives from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team.
