A LOVE Island star has found himself in the midst of a love triangle as he heads into the competition’s second week.

Connor Durman, from Worthing, had his love interest Sophie Piper snatched from him on the reality dating show on Friday night.

New boy Connagh Howard, a model from Cardiff, chose to couple up with Sophie, leaving Connor single.

The coffee bean salesman said he had been “snaked” – cheated – by the villa’s latest entrant.

Connor claimed his rival should have couple up with Siânnise, who he had also been “getting to know”, instead.

He said: “He should have gone about things a different way.

“He should have coupled up with Siânnise, got to know her, he could have still gotten to know Sophie if he wanted to.

“It’s hard not to be awkward now. It’s going to be a bit hard, but he’s brought that on himself.”

He set about trying to win Sophie back, but his exploits were dealt a significant blow when the 21-year-old, who is the sister of radio DJ Rochelle Humes, sided with Connagh in a spat about their split.

Fellow islander Mike Boateng had stern words for Connagh as he condemned his choosing of Sophie.

But Sophie stood up for the Welshman, telling Mike it was none of his business.

She said: “You can’t even say that to him.

“He’s gone with his gut at the end of the day.

“I feel like you boys shouldn’t be beating him up about it.”

At the end of the show, bosses revealed a new girl called Rebecca will be entering the villa tonight.
