A PERSON had to be rescued from an early hours blaze in a block of flats.
Three fire crews were called at 2.30am yesterday to Sackville Road, Bexhill, where fire had broken out on the first floor.
The fire service said a resident inside the flat “was led to safety”.
It is understood the cause of the fire was accidental.
After two hours the crews were able to pack up their equipment and left at 4.50am.
