COMEDIAN Simon Evans joined pal Geoff Norcott on a celebrity edition of Pointless Celebrities.
They competed against other comic performers and stand-up acts on the BBC quiz show on Saturday.
Simon, 54, from Hove, contributed answers on topics including Carry On films and other names for birds in the early rounds of the game.
Alongside Mr Norcott, they reached the final round after winning the head-to-head round.
They chose to go for glory on the topic of Rowan Atkinson in the final round and had to find little-known actors cast in Mr Bean, Blackadder or Johnny English.
Simon, who played for Parkinsons UK, did not manage to win the £2,500 jackpot prize. But £500 was donated to charity, and he won the “coveted Pointless trophy”.
The show is available on iPlayer.
