Car and lorry crash causing slow traffic on A259
A CRASH involving a car and a lorry is causing slow traffic on the A259.
The crash was first reported shortly after 5.30pm near Newhaven.
An AA spokesman said: "The road is partially blocked and there is slow traffic due to a crash involving a car and a lorry on the A259 Seaford Road near the junction with the B2109 Avis Road (Denton roundabout).
"There is congestion stretching to surrounding roads around Newhaven."
At about 6.45pm it was reported that the incident had been cleared and traffic in the area was easing.
