A POLICE inspector is facing allegations that he formed “inappropriate relationships” with five vulnerable women.

Sussex Police Inspector Anthony Lumb is accused of acting inappropriately on several occasions when he engaged in sexual activity while on duty.

The conduct is alleged to have taken place between 2002 and 2016, according to the force website.

Mr Lumb is due to face allegations that he breached police standards in a hearing at Sussex Police HQ in Lewes on Friday.

The standards accusations are in respect of authority, respect and courtesy, duties and responsibilities, and discreditable conduct.
