POLICE chiefs have suspended two PCSOs over allegations they have breached professional standards.
Two separate investigations have been launched into the conduct of the community support officers based in Brighton.
The allegations against both PCSOs are not related, the force said. It was confirmed the two have been suspended and face an investigation by the Professional Standards Department.
It emerges as Sussex Police is recruiting scores of the support officers and deploying them to strengthen links in communities.
If allegations are proven, the two PCSOs could face disciplinary action.
