A ROAD will be shut for six weeks for improvement work.
“Carriageway patching” will be carried out in Tidebrook Road, between Mayfield and Wadhurst, between Pennybridge Lane and Riseden Road, from February 10 to March 20.
The road will be closed from the junction with the B2100 Beech Hill and Mayfield Lane to where it becomes Coggins Mill Lane and joins Fletching Street and East Street, from 7am to 7pm each day.
Crews from East Sussex Highways will be patching sections of the road that are in particular need of repair.
The road will be closed to ensure the safety of workers on the site.
