A MAN is set to stand trial accused of the murder of a “devoted” mother and British Airways cabin crew worker.
Jayesh Gobar denies killing Nelly Myers at her home in Rotherfield in December last year.
Her family said they were “devastated” by news of her death and said she had lived in the village for nearly 30 years.
Unemployed 35-year-old Gobar, of Moorland Road, Maidenbower in Crawley, appeared at Lewes Crown Court this week.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and an initial trial date was set for June 1, with a pre-trial review in May.
