A SHOPLIFTER who stole alcohol from shops and restaurants also attacked a paramedic.
Dilan Finn, 38, assaulted Alan Deakin in St James’s Street in Brighton.
He was arrested and brought before Brighton Magistrates where he also admitted three theft charges and breaching a suspended sentence.
Finn, of no fixed address, was told his offending was “serious” because of his previous convictions and failure to comply with court orders.
He admitted stealing alcohol from Tesco in Western Road, Hove and stealing Jack Daniels and Coke from the Co-op in North Street, Brighton, both in September.
Then in December he admitted entering Subway in Western Road, Brighton, and stealing.
Finn was sentenced to six months in prison for the offences and must pay £150 in compensation.
