A COUNCIL has addressed concerns over the removal of a set of historic lamps from a public garden.
The 100-year-old lamp posts were removed from Valley Gardens in Brighton as part of ongoing improvement work. But the council reassured residents that they would be returning.
A spokeswoman said: “We are restoring 21 of the heritage lamp columns to be placed at the entrances to the gardens.
“They are currently with a specialist who is carrying out restorative paint work and repairs.”
