A THUG who attacked a youth was jailed.
John McGill admitted assaulting the youngster at Hillcrest Road in Newhaven.
The 26-year-old changed his plea to guilty at Brighton Magistrates’ Court, where it was revealed he had previous convictions for assault.
McGill, who is already in Lewes Prison, was sentenced to a further eight weeks in jail.
He was put under a restraining order until January 2022.
