A MYSTERIOUS orange glow has been seen looming over Brighton’s horizon.
The strange light is believed to be the effect of lights at the Amex Stadium which appear more noticeable on cloudy nights.
Argus Camera Club member Lisa Huggins took this picture from Hangleton, right.
Fellow amateur photographer Gerry Ure said he had seen the glow a week ago then saw it again on Friday.
The glow could be seen from Hollingbury on Thursday and Friday nights.
Thousands of people have signed a petition calling for the lights to be put out. Steve Geliot who started the petition said he had seen the glow from as far away at the Long Man of Wilmington.
He said: Lights and heaters are used all night long to help the grass grow.”
