WHEN he appeared on Britain’s Got Talent, Simon Cowell declared, “We are witnessing the birth of a star”.

Now that “star” Darcy Oake is heading to Brighton with his “magical spectacular”.

Following a sell-out London show last Halloween, daredevil Darcy is set to take the country by storm as he embarks on a 12-date UK tour.

He will be at Brighton Komedia on March 30.

The tour organisers said: “Darcy will be flipping traditional magic on its head to deliver a magical spectacular in a truly unique way, for the first time ever.

“He will perform to an audience that will move around throughout the show, allowing them to get up close and personal to a plethora of breathtaking, logic-bending illusions

“The fully immersive, interactive experience will see the magician performing never-before-seen material fusing grand old traditional magic with his very own edgy twist.”

Darcy said: “I am so thrilled to be touring up and down the UK performing my brand new show.

“It is a stunning extravaganza of illusions that will challenge all logic.

“Proving the impossible is possible this is going to be an evening of breathtaking magic that is daring, death defying and dangerous.

“It will literally blow your mind.”

His electrifying 2014 breakthrough performance on Britain’s Got Talent, which has now been watched by more than 200 million people worldwide, catapulted Darcy into the spotlight as he proved the impossible is possible and demonstrated magic can still be young, fresh and dare devilish.

He made such an impact with his UK show that the US beckoned and in 2016 he made a guest appearance on America’s Got Talent.

Since then he has performed his “jaw-dropping” magic before audiences worldwide.

The Brighton Komedia show is on Monday, March 30, at 7pm and tickets are £23 from www.ticketmaster.co.uk/.
