TWO MEN were charged on suspicion of a masked pickaxe robbery on a jewellers.
Staff at Brufords jewellers in The Beacon Shopping Centre, Eastbourne, reported the incident on Sunday.
Police said 15 Rolex watches valued between £100,000 and £150,000 were stolen.
Four men wearing masks entered the premises, and one was carrying a handheld pickaxe or hammer, police said.
Gavin Walter, 41, of Westminster Road, Sutton, and Paul Mitchell, 39, of Orchard Avenue, Mitcham, were charged with robbery.
They were listed to appear in court today (Tuesday, January 28) to face the charge.
Police say two other suspects remain at large.
