BURGER chain Five Guys is rumoured to be planning to take over the Carluccio’s restaurant site in Brighton.
The American burger brand - which already has a branch at Brighton Marina - is understood to have signed a lease for the Jubilee Street site.
The Italian restaurant closed last week after announcing its closure earlier in the month.
The Virginia founded burger chain promises to source all its ingredients locally.
Its first UK restaurant opened in Covent Garden in 2013 and it is now one of the fastest growing restaurant in the UK.
