ONLY four cities are harder than us when it comes to water.
The 2020 UK Hard Water Index, compiled by Harvey Water Softeners, found that Brighton had the fourth hardest water in the country.
The city’s water was found to contain 267mg of calcium carbonate per litre of water.
Only Ipswich, Bournemouth and St Albans had harder water.
Hard water can cause a white build up of limescale on your shower, taps and kettle. It can also be linked to skin conditions like eczema.
