AN INQUEST into the death of a murdered 20-year-old was opened yesterday.
Suel Delgado was struck by a car in Marine Parade on Brighton seafront on Sunday, December 1.
Suel, who lived in Kensington Road, Crawley, died at the Royal Sussex County Hospital the following day.
Coroner’s officer Mike Bebee told Brighton Coroner’s Court yesterday the provisional cause of death given was a head injury, following a post mortem examination.
DI Anna Martin told coroner Veronica Hamilton-Deeley police are investigating the case as a murder.
She said: “Three suspects have been arrested and have been released while inquiries continue, before we know whether we can charge those individuals.”
Ms Hamilton-Deeley suspended the inquest until July 28.
