Christopher Charman stole from shops in Hove, Brighton and Bexhill
A SHOPLIFTER stole more than £4,000 worth of mobile phones and cameras during two shop raids.
Christopher Charman stole iPads, a Huawei smart phone and Samsung phones from the O2 shop in George Street, Hove.
The 31-year-old also stole a Sony and Fuji Film camera from Jessops in Brighton.
At Brighton Magistrates’ Court he admitted both thefts on December 4 last year.
He also admitted stealing £500 worth of items from In Perspective Art in St Leonards Road, Bexhill, last summer.
Magistrates said Charman, of The Diplocks, Hailsham, had committed “serious offences” , made worse because of his previous criminal record.
They jailed Charman, who is already serving a sentence, for 16 weeks, with a £115 surcharge.
