SOME 31 motorists who have so far been convicted as part of Surrey Police and Sussex Police’s Christmas crackdown on drink and drug-drivers.

Here are the other latest convictions as part of the campaign:

Yax Patel, 31, of Alinora Avenue, Goring, pleaded guilty to both offences and was sentenced to 12 weeks’ imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, and required to carry out 220 hours of unpaid work. He was also disqualified from driving for 46 months, and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £122 victim surcharge.

Ronald Williams, 29, unemployed, of St Crispians, Seaford, was arrested in Bond Street, Brighton, on 19 December and charged with driving with 76mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 9 January, he was disqualified from driving for 20 months. He was also ordered to pay a £120 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Louis Anscombe, 22, a carpenter, of Pulborough Close, Brighton, was arrested in New Church Road, Hove, on 19 December, and charged with driving with 41mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system and driving with no insurance. At Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 9 January, he was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a £240 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

John Scott, 47, a workshop engineer, of Sea Lane, Ferring, was arrested in Goring Road, Worthing, on 19 December and charged with driving with 56mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Worthing Magistrates’ Court on 21 January, he was disqualified from driving for 13 months. He was also ordered to pay a £440 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Ricky Westbrook, 46, a maintenance employee, of Elm Close, Bracklesham Bay, was arrested in Oldlands Way, Bognor Regis, on 20 December and charged with driving with 66mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Worthing Magistrates’ Court on 28 January, he was disqualified from driving for 18 months. He was also ordered to pay a £164 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Daniel Ryan, 19, a carpenter, of Magpie Close, St Leonards, was arrested in Harley Shute Road, St Leonards, on 21 December, and charged with driving with 45mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system and driving with no insurance. At Hastings Magistrates’ Court on 22 January, he was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a £220 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Adam Everson, 35, a scaffolder, of Devonshire Road, Hastings, was arrested in London Road, St Leonards, on 21 December, and charged with driving with 41mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system and resisting a police officer in the execution of their duty. At Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 23 December, he was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a £368 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Sasha Starks, 25, a care assistant, of Windmill Platt, Handcross, was arrested in Grande Parade, Brighton, on 21 December, and charged with driving with 68mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system and failing to stop when required by police. At Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 9 January, she was disqualified from driving for 18 months. She was also ordered to pay a £393 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Graham Beer, 40, a driver, of Oak Tree Lane, Eastbourne, was arrested in St Anne’s Road, Eastbourne, on 21 December and charged with driving with 75mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Hastings Magistrates’ Court on 22 January, he was disqualified from driving for 20 months. He was also ordered to pay a £180 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Hayley Turner, 32, a dancer, of Western Road, Bexhill, was arrested in Sea Road, St Leonards, on 21 December and charged with driving with 53mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system. At Hastings Magistrates’ Court on 22 January, she was disqualified from driving for 12 months. She was also ordered to pay a £140 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Ketan Patel, 38, a railway employee, of Basildon Way, Crawley, was arrested in The Street, Horley, Surrey, on 22 December, and charged with failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis and driving with no insurance. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 9 January, he was disqualified from driving for 16 months. He was also ordered to pay a £240 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Fallon Lake, 33, a housekeeper, of Stoneypost Close, Oving, was arrested in Shopwhyke Road, Chichester, on 22 December and charged with driving with 62mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system. At Worthing Magistrates’ Court on 28 January, she was disqualified from driving for 17 months. She was also ordered to pay a £120 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Charlotte Shooter, 22, a bar worker, of Maple Fields, Seaford, was arrested in Bohemia Road, Hastings, on 22 December and charged with driving with 54mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system. At Hastings Magistrates’ Court on 22 January, she was disqualified from driving for 12 months. She was also ordered to pay a £350 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Amanda Jones, 48, an admin assistant, of Burns Close, Horsham, was arrested in Burns Close, Horsham, on 22 December and charged with driving with 70mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 9 January, she was disqualified from driving for 19 months. She was also ordered to pay a £541 fine, £85 costs and a £54 victim surcharge.

Molly Towers-Mode, 20, an advertising executive, of Bramble Hill, Balcombe, was arrested in Ring Road South at Gatwick Airport on 23 December and charged with driving with 79mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 9 January, she was disqualified from driving for 17 months. She was also ordered to pay a £480 fine, £85 costs and a £48 victim surcharge.

Benedict O’Byle, 37, a furniture maker, of Nomansland, St Albans, Hertfordshire, was arrested in Hunston, Chichester, on 22 December and charged with driving with 71mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Worthing Magistrates’ Court on 28 January, he was disqualified from driving for 18 months. He was also ordered to pay a £343 fine, £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.

Jacqueline Orourke, 59, a youth and community worker, of Whiterock Place, Southwick, was arrested on the M23 at Crawley on 24 December and charged with driving with 78mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 9 January, she was disqualified from driving for 36 months. She was also ordered to pay a £120 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Nathan King, 43, a finance clerk, of Hurst Court, Horsham, was arrested in Hurst Court, Horsham, on 24 December and charged with driving with 115mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 9 January, he was disqualified from driving for 28 months. He was also ordered to pay a £803 fine, £85 costs and a £80 victim surcharge.

Denis Priachin, 37, unemployed, of St Winifreds Close, Bognor Regis, was arrested in The Esplanade, Bognor Regis, on 25 December and charged with driving with 78mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Worthing Magistrates’ Court on 28 January, he was disqualified from driving for 18 months. He was also ordered to pay a £120 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Kriishnan Thamaraiselvam, 45, a customer service agent, of Hocken Mead, Crawley, was arrested in Stephenson Way, Crawley, on 25 December and charged with driving with 62mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 10 January, he was disqualified from driving for 18 months. He was also ordered to pay a £334 fine, £85 costs and a £33 victim surcharge.

Adrian Cope, 69, a driver, of Queens Drive, Hassocks, was arrested in Queens Drive, Hassocks, on 27 December and charged with driving with 50mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 10 January, he was disqualified from driving for 14 months. He was also ordered to pay a £253 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Kastytis Bartkus, 29, a carpenter, of White Acre, Wick, was arrested in Felpham Road, Bognor Regis, on 28 December, and charged with driving with 52mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system and driving with no insurance.

At Worthing Magistrates’ Court on 28 January, he was disqualified from driving for 14 months. He was also ordered to pay a £450 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Gioia Elias, 28, unemployed, of Stagelands, Crawley, was arrested in Ifield Avenue, Crawley, on 29 December and charged with driving with 70mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 13 January, she was disqualified from driving for 20 months. She was also ordered to pay a £384 fine, £85 costs and a £38 victim surcharge.

David Jarnot, 41, a refuse worker, of Middleton Avenue, Greenford, Ealing, was arrested at the South Terminal at Gatwick Airport on 30 December and charged with being in charge of a vehicle with 158mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 15 January, he was disqualified from driving for 12 months and required to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.

Diane McNally, 61, retired, of Grange Road, Hove, was arrested in Portland Road, Hove, on 30 December and charged with driving with 135mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system. At Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 16 January, she was sentenced to eight weeks in jail, suspended for 12 months, and disqualified from driving for 32 months. She was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £122 victim surcharge.

Jan Garrett, 68, a gardener, of Hazelhurst Crescent, Horsham, was arrested in Crawley Road, Horsham, on 30 December and charged with driving with 58mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 14 January, she was disqualified from driving for 16 months. She was also ordered to pay a £484 fine, £85 costs and a £48 victim surcharge.

Paul Hearn, 47, a manager, of Pevensey Road, Worthing, was arrested in Pevensey Road, Worthing, on 31 December, and charged with driving with 104mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system, failing to stop after a road traffic collision and two counts of failing to report a road traffic collision. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 2 January, he was disqualified from driving for 28 months and required to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay a £307 fine, £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.

Samuel Figg, 34, a construction worker, of Highcroft Villas, Brighton, was arrested in London Road, Brighton, on 1 January and charged with driving with 68mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 16 January, he was disqualified from driving for 18 months. He was also ordered to pay a £313 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Hannah Traylen, 24, an actor, of Albert Road, London, was arrested on the A264 at Crawley on 1 January and charged with driving with 74mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 15 January, she was disqualified from driving for 12 months. She was also ordered to pay a £196 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Derek Bishop, 55, retired, of Springfield Avenue, Peacehaven, was arrested in Springfield Avenue, Peacehaven, on 1 January and charged with driving with 76mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 16 January, he was disqualified from driving for 20 months. He was also ordered to pay a £217 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Rocky Martin, 36, a publican, of Haynes Way, Pease Pottage, was arrested in Broadfield Drive, Crawley, on 1 January and charged with driving with 62mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 15 January, he was disqualified from driving for 17 months. He was also ordered to pay a £350 fine, £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
