A VENUE dedicated to providing the world’s finest cereal has undergone a glamorous reimagining.

The Brighton Cereal Cafe in Trafalgar Street announced it will be reopening in the next few months after an eye-catching paint job and expansion.

The business gives visitors the chance to sample hundreds of different cereals from around the globe as well as some home-made concoctions made by combining their favourite flavours.

Co-founder Oskar De Rocha said: “Brighton Cereal Cafe is going to be back with the biggest of bangs.

“We have had a brand new re-fit but will still have all the same charm as before as well as cereals from around the world.”

The cafe was formerly based in the building’s basement but has now expanded and covers two floors.

The downstairs is now devoted to being a games room with a series of games consoles and screens.

But this is not the only big change to the site.

Oskar said: “The outside has now all been painted bright silver.

“It looks cracking.”

The venue opened in June 2018 to become the first cafe of its kind in the city.

It proved popular with customers scoring a series of five-star ratings on TripAdvisor.

One said: “This place is amazing. They have so many different kinds of cereal and are always experimenting with ice creams, flavoured milks and different desserts.

“They are happy to talk you through options and different combinations and are very knowledgeable about dietary requirements with their products. The prices are reasonable considering that imported cereals are expensive and you get a delightfully large portion.”

Despite this acclaim, the cafe has been shut since mid-2019. But Oskar reassured fans they will not have long to wait before they can enjoy their favourite cereals again.
