If Dawn Booth is serious in wanting an environmentally friendly solution to her problem of smelly fishbones in her fortnightly collected rubbish (Letters, November 2), then may I suggest that she stops eating fish in the first place.
Avoiding involvement in a rapacious industry that is plundering our oceans of all marine life on a catastrophic scale would both improve her green credentials and solve her problem of malodorous kitchen waste in an instant.
