A TRAMPOLINE which blew onto a railway line overnight caused delays between the capital and the South East.
Network Rail Kent and Sussex called in extra staff to remove the unusual obstruction after it toppled onto the track in Chelsfield, south London, this morning.
A spokesman said they were "working to remove it but will need further staff to assist given its size".
It has since been cleared.
This is one of several challenges the rail company faced today as a result of Storm Ciara descending on the South East.
This included being forced to close platforms five and six at Gatwick railway station due to a "loose roof".
They also had to deal with a second trampoline later in the day, which fell onto the tracks in Bickley, south east London.
