A GP SURGERY which suddenly closed earlier today has reopened.
The Warmdene Branch Surgery in Lionsdene, The Deneway, had cited "organisation health and safety reasons" for temporarily shutting this morning.
A notice on the medical centre's door read: "The surgery is closed due to organisational health and safety reasons.
"Please contact 111 if you need to speak to a health professional."
The Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has confirmed this evening that the surgery, which is a branch of Warmdene Surgery at County Oak Medical Centre, was closed temporarily today because of insufficient staffing levels.
The two surgeries at County Oak Medical Centre in Carden Hill were closed yesterday for deep cleaning as a precautionary measure after a GP at the centre tested positive for coronavirus.
Brighton and Hove CCG confirmed both Warmdene and Carden surgeries at County Oak Medical Centre will reopen tomorrow.
