A STORM has closed a popular walkway for “the foreseeable future”.
Splash Point in Seaford has been shut to the public due to damage from Storm Ciara, the town council said.
In a “regretful” announcement, Seaford Town Council said: “Splash Point will be shut off from the public for the foreseeable future.
“This is due to damage to the walkway caused by recent storms.
“We are working alongside Lewes District Council and the Environment Agency regarding the future of this extremely popular site and to investigate various options concerning remedial works.”
