They called it the ship of dreams and Friday could be amazing.

This valentine’s day the multi award winning Phileas Foggs World of Adventures is bringing an immersive experience to Brighton’s The Old Ship hotel on the seafront.

A spokesman said: “The evening will consist of an immersive show where guests have the options to purchase tickets as first class passengers or steerage passengers and are encouraged to dress according to their choice of class.

“The first class passengers will dine in style alongside the ship’s captain in the grand dining room where they will receive an authentic five course meal surrounded by the sound of live music and entertainment.

“Their First-Class experience has been described as a truly special voyage full of all the glamour and riches expected as you brush shoulders with some of the wealthiest and most important people of their time.”

“All the while the steerage guests will be shown into the snug area of the lower part of the ship, where they will have time to meet and socialise with a variety of different people all looking to make it to America for a better life ahead.”

The steerage passengers will receive some authentic entertainment in this part of the ship, “even these passengers will feel special as they get more than they would have ever expected to receive on a similar ship as they are served an authentic three course meal”, the spokesman added.

After dining, the show and entertainment will continue where guests will be entertained by live shows as the actors continue to draw you into into the love triangle between character Rose, Jack and Cal, like in the film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

Debbie Owen, Managing Director of Phileas Foggs World of adventures, said: “The hotel dates back as far as 1559 and has some really quirky rooms with many original features which lends itself to transporting our customers back in time, so we are really pleased to be working collaboratively with The Old Ship to bring such a unique experience to Brighton”.

Graham Owen, Phileas Foggs Creative Director added: “As soon as I was shown around, I could see that offering an immersive show at the Old Ship would give customers the opportunity to move freely around these amazing rooms, and then when you add the show, it means that guests will really feel like they are onboard the Titanic where they will become part of this great love story. It really will be the ship of dreams”.

Tickets to be part of the evening start from £89.50 per couple and can be booked at Hotel room options also available.
