AN MP has lost her job as transport minister in a ruthless Cabinet reshuffle.

Wealden MP Nus Ghani will no longer be Under-secretary of State for Transport after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a Government shake-up.

It is not known whether she left voluntarily.

The Conservative MP said she had "achieved so much" in her two years in the post but would now spend more time with family.

"Huge privilege to have been Transport Minister and we’ve achieved so much in two years," she said.

"Thanks to the great team in the department and now I get to spend more time with family and constituents."
