A MEAT thief has been jailed for his latest offences.
Maqsood Ali admitted taking £80 worth of meat from Morrisons in Crawley. The 49-year-old also admitted stealing beer from a Sainsbury’s store when he appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court.
He was in breach of a conditional discharge imposed for criminal damage to a door at Admiral Casino.
Ali, of Martyrs Avenue, Crawley, was jailed for four weeks because of his “flagrant disregard”.
