THE city's biggest employer has told its employees who have visited certain counties to stay at home amid coronavirus concerns.
American Express, in John's Street, Brighton, said employees who have recently been to countries including Hong Kong and China will not be allowed into work.
The financial services company, which employs thousands of people, has instructed them to work from home for 14 days.
American Express was contacted for comment.
This comes as the Department of Health and Social Care announced that nine people had tested positive nationwide for the virus, now called Covid-19.
The new case was in Lewisham, London.
