Aged 31, of Devonshire Place, Brighton, admitted sending a message to cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety that he knew to be false, to the police. Given a one month suspended prison sentence, with a £122 surcharge and £85 costs.

KATIE LUKE

Aged 32, of Beckworth Close, Durrington, admitted sending messages which were grossly indecent, offensive, or menacing. Ordered to complete 25 rehabilitation sessions, fined £40, with £40 compensation. Put under restraining order.

Aged 25, of Wessex Walk, Shoreham, admitted drink-driving in a Volkswagen Golf. Tested positive for 49 microgrammes (mcg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres (ml) of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg per 100ml. Fined £120, with a £32 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned for one year.
