A WOMAN who flew into Gatwick is being tested for coronavirus.
The woman visited a GP practice in Portsmouth on Friday afternoon having flwon in to the Sussex airport.
Patients were ordered to leave Kingston Crescent Surgery at 4.30pm on Friday due to an "emergency".
Mark Stubbings, managing partner at the Portsdown Group Practice – which runs the surgery – told the Portsmouth News: “This woman had been at Gatwick Airport and was showing symptoms of the virus.
“She ticked all the boxes for a potential case so we isolated her and did everything we needed to do
“Patients need to follow the NHS guidelines – anyone who has symptoms must not go to their GP surgery but dial 111."
