People wearing masks during the outbreak
THERE has been a hate crime recorded as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
The incident followed five cases of the illness being diagnosed since Thursday, February 6, in the Brighton area including two healthcare workers.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “The victim, of Chinese heritage, reported that two people passing covered their noses and mouths as they walked by in Brighton on Wednesday.”
