FOOTBALLERS will take to the field as part of an annual campaign to tackle bigotry and hatred in the game.

Football v Homophobia is hosted each year by the Sussex County FA at its headquarters at Culver Road in Lancing.

Volunteers and referees from the County FA take on two matches against the Brighton Lesbian and Gay Sports Society (Blagss).

There will be a women’s game and a men’s game to be hosted at the ground in Lancing.

The women’s game kicks off at 1pm on Sunday, while the men’s game kicks off at 3pm.

Entry is free for the exhibition game.
