House fire in Fullwood Avenue, Newhaven
RESIDENTS could smell the smoke from several streets away after a late-night house fire broke out.
Fire crews were called to the inferno in Fullwood Avenue, Newhaven, at 9.50pm yesterday.
Three engines and a car from the service attended the scene and firefighters used two hoses to battle the blaze.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said crews were able to bring the fire under control and later left the scene.
