A THIEF who targeted a woman and broke court orders not to see her has been jailed.

Karl Williams admitted stealing a woman’s jewellery, cash and money via a bank withdrawal in Hastings.

The 36-year-old appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court, where it was revealed he had been “at large since September”.

He showed no signs of working with the probation service, the court was told.

Williams, of no fixed address, admitted four thefts, and three breaches of a non-molestation order.

He was also in breach of a conditional discharge imposed for damaging the woman’s door. He was jailed for one year.
