PLANS to build a site for travellers have been revised after public opposition.
Mid Sussex District Council will build eight caravan pitches by Copthorne village near Crawley.
It had originally planned to create 13 spaces in the area known as Lower Hollow Copse.
District council deputy leader Judy Llewellyn-Burke said: “This latest proposal has fewer pitches, so the space is less densely populated and provides a nicer environment.”
