A FAMILY who contracted coronavirus from a Hove man have been discharged from hospital in France.
The British nationals, including a nine-year-old child, caught the virus at a ski resort from Steve Walsh, a businessman who became infected at a conference in Singapore.
The French health minister Olivier Véran said the family had been given the all-clear and released from hospital in Grenoble.
In England, 4,916 tests have been conducted for coronavirus. 4,907 proved negative, and nine positive. Public Health England said all five people who had the virus in Brighton have now recovered and been discharged.
Meanwhile a nurse who spoke to The Argus about her experience of self-isolation, an eight-month-old baby suspected of having coronavirus in Worthing, and a University of Sussex student taken to hospital on Monday have all tested negative for the virus.
