A MAN had to be rescued from a car after it crashed in a busy seafront road.
The incident happened in Marine Parade, Worthing, at 12.45pm.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the scene of the crash where a car had flipped onto its side.
Another car, which appeared to be parked on the side of the road, was dented on the passenger's side.
The road was part-closed while emergency services worked to remove the man from the wreckage of the flipped car.
He is now in the care of the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said crews were sent from Worthing and Littlehampton and they had left the scene at 1.06pm.
